Actually, I thought August's reveal made sense. The first time we got that flashback, I remember being confused and all "but I thought he kept his typewriter in there, huh?". So that was actually nice, neat and plausible. I'm actually more concerned about how the fuck August found out about all this. Seriously dude, just what have you been up to?

The Seer was my favorite part of the ep. Creepy voice, creepy hands, love.

I totally didn't consider the possibility that Rumpel purposely injured himself. I'm usually pretty dry-eyed during telly watching, but that made me tear up a bit.

I'm looking forward to the next episode more than a little bit. Because CORA. Man, I just love to hate Cora. So smart, so slick, so evil, so stylish. (I just really like her new duds, okay?) Great actress, yes.

Also, Henry comparing Emma to Regina. Because OUCH.

It made perfect sense! It's just that after all the speculation I've seen around, a piece of paper that says "I know you're Baelfire" is sort of amusingly low-effort, you know? The more I think about it the more it amuses me and the more I like it.

August had to have had some kind of help around because I can't think of any way a guy who grew up in foster care and then took off for parts warmer and less stressful would stumble upon "Neal Cassidy = Rumplestiltskin's son Baelfire (who presumably Pinocchio had no idea existed)".

The Seer was SO CREEPY. Amazingly well done. I may have nightmares about her in the future. (Creepy voice, creepy hands, creepy eyes-sewn-shut...)

I don't want to wait two weeks for the next episode! I wouldn't anyway but the next episode looks intense and awesome and like we're going to get a LOT more Cora.

Also, Henry comparing Emma to Regina. Because OUCH.

Oh, God, yes, I may have fallen apart more than a little bit at that. D:

Re: August. That is really the only explanation, there's no way he could have figured that out on his own. Obviously, there's a story there we haven't been told ( ... )

I'm going to call it right now and say they're clearly setting things up to de-curse Rumpel.

I feel like that has to be where the Henry prophecy is going, right? It's the answer that makes the most sense.

And, really, complaining about it becoming male-dominated? It does look like the dudes are going to become a little more centric, but I haven't seen any sign that that's going to come at the expense of the women; it looks like Emma, Regina, Cora, and Snow, at the very least, will be playing a major and active role in plot developments.

I'm wondering if that's part of why we got such a female-centric storyline in the first half of the season. And if so, that's... surprisingly more consideration that I'm used to from male creators, kudos.

It's true, that's way more thoughtful than most showrunners would be.

And somebody must be putting together a family tree chart even as we speak. Right?
