I was really disappointed with the casting. And I was kind of disappointed by how long it took us to see Sally/Annie for the very reason that it cements the boys friendship as "coming first" and being separate. Even though it was definitely first in the UK series, Annie never seemed like an outsider. Sally, here, seems like a major outsider and I don't like it. In the UK show it always seemed like the three of them.
I'm hoping for more from the next couple of episodes, but I was mostly disappointed in the pilot.
I'm hopeful that they'll overcome the outsider-y-ness (that's not a word...) and bond as a trio. Because it's definitely meant to be a show about a trio. I'll give them a couple episodes to reach that point, but I really want them to get there.
I admit it, I had really low expectations going in; it would've been hard for them to disappoint me since I had no hopes beyond "please don't screw this up beyond all repair though I won't be surprised if you do".

And for us Supernatural fans...Jacob played Satan...which still makes me LOL.
And I'm like you...I'll continue watching...and if all else fails...series 3 starts Sunday. :-)

So basically Mark Pellegrino is making a career out of playing supernatural badasses, huh? :D
I'm so excited about series 3. Excited and full of flail. I need my shiny proper show back.
