These are "favorite" rather than "best", mind you. I can admit that some of my favorite episodes really wouldn't qualify for a best list, and vice versa.

I was! I was chicafrom3 there, too. I'm chicafrom3 everywhere, lulz. I haven't been back in a long time, though, except once in a while I pop into the GMD and Reviews forums when fandom news comes out and I get curious as to how EI is taking it. I haven't logged in in like forever, though.

I think one of the reasons why I adore Coda is because while yes, it's dark, yes, it's kind of depressing, yes, it takes our characters into dark places, it treats those characters with respect. It lets them grow and change and still be them, rather than getting trapped in an image of who we think they should be. Also, Beka winds up being more important than Dylan. (Plus, Ignatius.)

And I'm okay with them going out spectacularly.

That said, my own mental construction of how the series ends isn't all that much like RHW's. It's not anything at all like Engle's, either, thankfully. My Harper and Beka are still in the Maru, doing crime and having adventures and occasionally hooking up with the Andromeda to have adventures with Rommie and Trance and Tyr.

I kind of keep wanting to take all my favorite clips of all the characters and make this pointless video montage.

Hee. That could be awesome. And I hear you on the wanting more fic; I periodically get really sad that there's not a lot new coming out of the fandom.
