Favourite team(s), and why they’re your favourite: I got dragged into hockey (and then, hockey fandom) kicking and screaming by faithbeckett, and I absolutely fell in love with the Chicago Blackhawks. Through andromeda26, I tumbled head over heels for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and I also cheer for the Winnipeg Jets now, since they’re back in my city. I also have a weak spot for the Edmonton Oilers.
Favourite player(s): ♥ Duncan Keith♥ is my favourite player of all time, forever. Corey Crawford, Patrick Kane, Evgeni Malkin, Jordan Staal, Marc-Andre Fleury, Jordan Eberle, Nik Antropov.
Slasher, yay or nay? Oh, yay!
If yay, favourite pairing(s)/bromance(s): Oh, it’s far too big of a list to put here, but my main obsessions right now are Toews/Kane, Crosby/Malkin, Staal/Letang, Crawford/Carcillo, Crawford/Campoli, and Hall/Eberle.
Best hockey memory: I remember watching the Hawks win the Cup with my parents, and I was sitting on the couch, leaning forward, and the next thing I knew, Kaner was FLYING across the ice and hopped on Nemo and I was like “OH MY GOD DID THEY JUST WIN THE STANLEY CUP?” And my dad said, “Yes, Charlie,” and I started screaming. It was amazing.
How you got into hockey: Becks started telling me about how pretty and talented her team was, so I decided to watch a game. I was absolutely blown away by how awesomely worked together as a team, and it didn’t hurt that a lot of them were totally gorgeous. I was a total goner. :D
If you could only see one game ever, which teams would it be between? The Hawks and the Pens, easy!

I loved that moment when Kane was freaking out, flying down the ice and everyone else was standing around like "WTF just happened, man?"! But him and Sharpy knew right away that it was in and the Cup was coming back to Chicago!

And yes, yes, yes you have to go to a Hawks/Pens game! But I'll one up it and say you have to go to a Hawks/Sidney Crosby led Pens game. Because seriously ... Sid hasn't played against the Hawks since like 2007 or something ridiculous like that!

I was like "DID HE SCORE? I DIDN'T SEE IT GO IN! WHY IS HE SO EXCITED? OMG DID HE SCORE, DAD, DAD. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD." It was hilarious.

I kept waiting for them to take it back. Until Toews actually lifted the Cup above his head and let out that scream I thought they were going to call the goal back, force them to continue playing and then charge the Hawks with too many men on the ice. hahah.

It really does. Poor Sid. Come back, Sid! The NHL needs you!
