Favourite team(s), and why they’re your favourite: I got dragged into hockey (and then, hockey fandom) kicking and screaming by faithbeckett, and I absolutely fell in love with the Chicago Blackhawks. Through andromeda26, I tumbled head over heels for the Pittsburgh Penguins, and I also cheer for the Winnipeg Jets now, since they’re back in my city. I also have a weak spot for the Edmonton Oilers.
Favourite player(s): ♥ Duncan Keith♥ is my favourite player of all time, forever. Corey Crawford, Patrick Kane, Evgeni Malkin, Jordan Staal, Marc-Andre Fleury, Jordan Eberle, Nik Antropov.

If yay, favourite pairing(s)/bromance(s): Oh, it’s far too big of a list to put here, but my main obsessions right now are Toews/Kane, Crosby/Malkin, Staal/Letang, Crawford/Carcillo, Crawford/Campoli, and Hall/Eberle.
Best hockey memory: I remember watching the Hawks win the Cup with my parents, and I was sitting on the couch, leaning forward, and the next thing I knew, Kaner was FLYING across the

I loved that moment when Kane was freaking out, flying down the ice and everyone else was standing around like "WTF just happened, man?"! But him and Sharpy knew right away that it was in and the Cup was coming back to Chicago!

And yes, yes, yes you have to go to a Hawks/Pens game! But I'll one up it and say you have to go to a Hawks/Sidney Crosby led Pens game. Because seriously ... Sid hasn't played against the Hawks since like 2007 or something ridiculous like that!

I kept waiting for them to take it back. Until Toews actually lifted the Cup above his head and let out that scream I thought they were going to call the goal back, force them to continue playing and then charge the Hawks with too many men on the ice. hahah.

I got a team/stream feed this morning that said he was going to play in the game tonight just three days after being diagnosed with a fracture in his foot? HARD CORE!

Threadjumping to say he did play! (I got back from the game a couple hours ago.) Apparently on further testing it's not actually a fracture, just (hah) a bone bruise. Still hard core! Just less worrisome for his health and the long-term and him being out, thank goodness.

How you got into hockey: I started watching it in middle school by accident. I was on a "field trip" with my eighth grade class, and it started to rain, so we all ran inside and I think Game 4 of the 1997 Cup Finals was going on, and some of the boys said they wanted to stay in and watch it on TV. I said I wanted to too, just to stay out of the rain, and the rest is history~
If you could only see one game ever, which teams would it be between? Detroit and Montréal, in Detroit. Or really, Detroit vs. any Original Six team in Detroit.

How you got into hockey: Can't actually remember a time that I wasn't into it. I can remember sitting on my daddy's lap and watching hockey as far back as my earliest childhood memories go.
If you could only see one game ever, which teams would it be between? Stanley Cup finals, Game 7, between the Bruins and the Habs. It's never gonna happen, but you can't blame a girl for dreaming.

So can I just say that although I'm not a huge Flyers fan I loved 24/7 because of the Flyers ridiculous victory song! I'm sorry but Knock Knock is amazing! hahah

Also Duchene/Stastny's bang-bang victory celebration is fantastic as well!
