The issue of drinking

Why is it that people seem to feel that they must make me feel like an outcast if I refuse to drink? Why is it that people feel the need to force alcohol into me by sheer peer pressure? Why can't it be acceptable that some people drink, and some don't want to? What if someone had been born by alcoholic parents and therefore was genetically wired to ( Read more... )

Hai! Hang in there Evil-chan, It's a shame that people are still doing this kinda crap these days. Whoever they are they seem to have doubts about their own actions and won't be happy unless you join. So sad.....

naw it's not that... they just want me to be a part of the fun I guess. I understand WHY they do it.. I just want it to stop though. That's all. I'm perfectly capable of having fun without alcohol, so it's all good. ahaha

Same here. I drink a little but rarely and my ex always used to pressure me to drink when I was at his place. It wasn't much fun to be pressured, I would've preferred to drink at my own pace but maybe he didn't respect me like that. Maybe that's part of the reason I left him, because I realised that....

That aside, I know how you feel and anyone pressures you at my party, you let me know and I'll kick their drunk but out. Ok? ^_^
