I had two appointments today at City of Hope.
Dr. Benham Badie, M.D.
Director, Department of Neurosurgery.
Director, Brain Tumor Program
Dr. Ellie Maghami, M.D.
Section Head, Head & Neck, Otolaryngology
Department of General Oncologic Surgery
I also met with Roger Harthrong, N.P. who will be coordinating everything at City of Hope for me.
Within the next couple of weeks I will meet with Dr. Mark C. Tan, M.D., F.A.C.S. Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Hopefully the cosmetic result of everything will look..similar to how i look now.
I really hope they can reconstruct the bone so my orbital wall nex to my eye..keeps my eye in place too.
I really hope that if I have to shave my head I don't look too strange..ugly. I really hope the swelling and bruising won't last too long. I really hope that if I lose my sense of smell and taste..that it is only on one side. I really hope i won't end up with some sort of depression on my head.
ugh. Is it weird that I haven't prayed yet?
