so im getting disillusioned with being me and suddenly the answer beckons me

and then i realize
i rather despise writing
and i get all sad about ideas in my head i assume are right because i think them up based upon how i guess this place all works
but i guess theyre wrong since ive been believing television commercials
so heres the best way ive heard the argument against drm from some guy named operator23 here
I recently moved, but I used to walk to work. For a year I walked the same path. There was a streetcorner where a guy played music. The guy had his instrument case open for money. Anyone who went by heard his music; he had no guarantee of making any money, he couldn't force people to pay him. Most people didn't put anything in his instrument case, but some did. He didn't starve to death, I saw him out there throughout the year I worked. Now imagine that guy could perform on hundreds of streetcorners simultaneously, all over the world. Would he be better off or worse? This is what we have to realize, this is the business model that needs to be assumed, this is why DRM is unecessary.
