I've gotten sucked into reading Inuyasha badfic. Again. D: BBs, help me out by
reccing something good?
Went to Sicko a few days ago. Loved it; Michael Moore's best movie yet. Unlike Fahrenheit 9/11, he didn't wander all over the place, and unlike Bowling for Columbine, he didn't get all in-your-face at the end.
And I don't see how you can argue with his main point, which you definitely could in the other two movies I mentioned. (Hi, I'm one of the uninsured 40 million Americans out there! *waves* Oh, but it's totally cool, because I plan on never getting sick. Teehee!)
Two things made me a bit uncomfortable. One: the person I was with cried through the entire film. I just kind of edged myself over to the side of my seat and pretended I didn't know them. (I am the most empathetic person ever, aren't I?) Two: the film never discussed the cost of the French system, which led to the election of their new president. And, in France, that basically means a whole new government because it's dictatorship by consent. Vive le Fifth Republic.
Anyway, good movie.
Note to self: taking almost 100 mg of iron before your blood donation will cause your blood droplet to sink like a stone (and hella impress the nurse), but since it also causes you to keep bleeding after donating, you might want to not take both of your iron pills together.
