So last night was the final game of the Stanley Cup . . . all of us were rooting for Edmonton b/c well, they were the underdogs. Also, I can't find it possible to root for a hockey team that is based in a location which does not see snow. Much Moosehead was consumed as we watched the Oilers blow it in the first period. Additionally, Don Cherry wasn't sporting as fashionable a suit as the lavander/plum colored (or would it be coloured?) flower print one from game 5. Jake showed up about 10 min into the game complaining that he got stuck at the border for 45 min due to his renewed passport and all he thought was "I have to go watch the hockey game dammit!".
Other than that, I ground up a lot of plant tissue yesterday, I already did some today and after lunch my life will be more exciting as I - yes, grind up more plant tissue! Whooo. Then after that RNA extracting fun as well.
