Prom Update!
The Senior Prom Meeting came to a close half an hour ago and this is what the committee has decided on the following:
Song: Edwin McCain - I'll Be
Background: As all you TSN '06ers know, the Junior Prom theme was Edwin McCain - These Are the Moments (I Could Not Ask for More). I'll Be is more or less the sister song to I Could Not Ask for More so I think it's great that it's our Senior Song. ... And yes, this song was deeply influenced by me. Fitz wanted Al Green - Let's Stay Together, but really now. It's too fast to be our song.
Theme: More than Just a Memory
Background: This theme is completely my fault. Well, it's not that it's a fault-- it's a freaking awesome theme. It's just that I was talking to myself because I remembered that I most likely won't go. I thought back to my history... err... yeah, and I just muttered, "... [It's] more than just a memory... [It's not fair.] Shaw overheard me and said it aloud and the others thought it'd be a great theme. Youch. (It's also the theme of my deadjournal. :D)
Colors: Black, Blue, Silver
Background: Oh God. This was hell. Jade and Veronica kept going at each other about pink. It was pretty obvious that seniors (nor the juniors aside from the Elf Girl, Veronica, and Amber) wanted pink. This argument over pink went on for months. Jeez. That's why we barely have anything settled.
... And that's all we've decided really. We've also decided on invitations... but that's a surprise. :DD I can't wait to order everything and make sure things are intact. Yeah (to everyone). I don't know why I still go to Prom Meetings or Class Officer Meetings anymore either. I'm not going to prom, nor am I going on the Class Trip.
