Memories take you back to how you felt at that particular time and it really enlightens your perspective of that person you're thinking about and makes you remember more of what was. I guess, this can be a good thing if all you want is a warm memory, other times it draws you back a little wishing things were the same. Then again, that takes it all back to your tangent of perspective.
A memory can be so sweet and heartfelt. You can either enjoy the memory or it can also be something that causes an unnecessary hold on you that makes you yearn for that time to come back when you know it can't.
Recently I have been trying to remember things and just love what was and then look at the present and be thankful for what I have at the time as well.
wow... does any of that make sense? haha
