Friendly Neighborhood Update
Not much going on here as of late. Mom's a bit sick so I'm waiting to see how that goes. If she has a fever like she does for more than one night then we need to take her to see a doctor. She's taken some Tylenol and called it a night about nine or so. I picked up a project I started a while back again. I've been wanting to do a fan mix for Toph from Avatar for some time now and while it would be easier to do back home what with all my CDs there I'm going to give it a go here. The thing with making a mix is that you need to find the right songs to fit the situation. Most of my mixes were combinations of songs that happened to be the latest additions to my hard drive and CD collection. They were very general. This time I have to find songs that fit the character in question. I had some ideas when I first concieved of the mix but now I don't know if they would fly with the general Avatar fandom. So now I'm in search of a new set of songs that I think fit with Toph. It has to be something that has more than one or two lines that go with the character. This will keep me busy for a few days before I get a zip together. So, we'll see how this goes and when the project is finished I'll give an update.
