Travel Day
Sitting here in the International Terminal at O'Hare killing some time before we have to board our flight to Fort Myers. The airline we're using leaves from the International Terminal so that makes things better. It's a "Girls' Day" for travel because my mom and I have her younger sister with us. Since my mom is with us it takes some of the stress off of me having to keep an eye on my aunt when we travel. From what I heard she seems to be doing a bit worse with the short term memory problems due to her dimentia. As long as she's in familiar surroundings and keeps her brain active my aunt seems to function fine. She hasn't progressed to a point where she doesn't recognize people so that's good.
I got to thinking recently about a guy friend of mine from school so I need to e-mail my best friend out in California to see if she or my cousin have talked to him in the last couple of weeks. He works for the radio station that handles the Bears games running the sponsors tent at all the home games for the Marketing department. It's a neat job because he gets to go to the games at home all season long. He had been working in the marketing department for another radio station for a while before switching jobs. I got to thinking the night the Bears clinched the Superbowl birth if he would be sent down to Miami for work or not. It would be cool if WBBM radio had the money to send him down there for marketing stuff. I don't know if that would happen or not because there seems to be enough things going on around the stadium as it is that the NFL runs. I think it's neat that a guy I meet when I was twelve is able to have a position like this. He's part of the reason why I made the vow to keep better contact with some of the people I went to school with when I was younger. I've been very bad about keeping good contact with my friends from school. I really want to change that.
Don't know if I'll be able to get on again tonight when I get to Florida. If I'm not on then I'll definately be on the IMs Thursday between 6 and 7pm Eastern time depending on our schedule for the day. Talk to all of you later.
