Harry had thought that the hardest thing he would have to do was kill Voldemort. He had, had false expectations. Repairing the wizarding world from the damage done to it in the war was a much harder task. Made more difficult by the fact that everyone expected him to do something amazing and miraculously magic their world better.
They were all fools. Even with magic and the strongest wizard of the age on their side, such a miraculous reconstruction was an impossible dream. Reconstruction was an overwhelming task and one that would take years to complete, if they even could.
