So, what's the problem?

Mar 01, 2007 00:20

I feel like I've been thinking about a lot of things I've wanted to write in this. But I've forgotten them all. So I don't know why I'm posting, except to put off going to sleep. Yay.

I've been really busy this semester. But not with classes. Actually, classes have been frighteningly un-busy (knock on wood). My extracurriculars are heating up and kicking into gear. It's fun and all, but goodness. Tomorrow's going to be ridiculous. Like, for real real. I have to share to get my point across.

10:30 Cell Biology
12:00 Greek/Latin Word Study
1:30 Honors Leadership and Scholarship
3:00 Work in the Lab
4:00 Graduate School Info Session
5:00 More Work in the Lab
6:00 Habitat for Humanity
6:30 Circle K
7:30 ASB
8:30 Election Board Hearings (yes, that's plural)

And I may have to go meet with a professor sometime in there. And fit in lunch and dinner. Dammit. So this is why Thursdays are my hell days. But I don't have class on Friday. So it's all good (sorta).

I have a Circle K Convention this weekend. I'm kinda excited. The kids in the club make me laugh, and I think it'll be kinda fun to go to a dorky college conference again. Oh how I miss MUN Conferences. *sigh*

All in all I think I'm doing better. At least, I hope so. There are still a few loose ends I need to tie up - questions I'd like answered, friendships that need to be mended or severed, etc. Time will tell.

Stuart reminded me the other day that scheduling is coming up. That just seems so weird. Like...I'm pretty much down to my last two semesters at LSU. And I have only a slight idea what I want to do and where I want to go afterwards. Heh. Somehow I'll get by.

I'm really stoked about my thesis project. It's coming along quite nicely. I'm not going to go into any detail here, 1) because it's long 2) because it's got really big/confusing words and 3) I'm not sure how much of your research you're technically allowed to disclose (for fear of someone else stealing your ideas? I dunno...I'm still kinda new to it). Whatever, the bottom line is I actually have a concrete project, which is good, and hopefully I'll have it all done in December (hopefully? no. There's no alternative. It has to be done by December).

Yay me. Time for sleep before the Day of Hell(o).
