I AM somewhat loathe to give up 2. It's just so much fun!
As for number 1, this is just ONE of the uses that being bilingual has! there are so many more! Twice the curse words, for example! Being able to feel superior to people who are not bilingual! (of course, then people who are MULTILINGUAL come along and make you feel like you're not working hard enough) It's pretty sweet, s'all I'm saying.

5-yeah, i really need to make that a habit again. especially with cars.

Yes, #1 is also important - until you go visit Poland. Then you're basically screwed.
