okay, we've pretty much fully moved to the new apartment now. will's parents generously donated more furniture and bought us a few things from ikea, including NEW DESKS. both are 5 feet in length.. so much space! and yes, this is a big deal for the both of us, as we've been stuck sharing the same desk for the past 2 years

pretty much all my friends here are perfectly bilingual, a few speak with a strong french accent but the others you wouldn't know that their first language is french. my boyfriend's english accent is so good that some people even ask where he's from! :p

thanks, my friend put a lot of effort into it. i'll post pictures when i'm done painting it!

it depends on where you live within quebec, off in the countryside around here many people don't speak a word of english. :o here in the city a lot of people are bilingual.

You're doing some amazing stuff! I haven't even gotten to make a single thing yet... All I have is that ruby bullet gun that I bought, the one based right off the zillion anime, so it doesn't look exactly like the PSU ruby bullet, but with very slight modifying it will. I don't want to ruin it though, it's a collectors item, and what if i want to cosplay as JJ from Zillion? lol

But yes, AWESOME work, keep it up!

it took my friend several days to make this, it's all card with a few layers of fibreglass over the top of a few places to toughen it so it'd survive the convention.

it's not too hard to make, to be honest, just takes time and a bit of imagionation. ^^ i'll post convention photos of the finished product when my friend (who is also a photographer!) takes some!
will has repainted a supersoaker gun to look like a matching handgun for himself, it's good!
