So I bought a car yesterday. It was a bit intimidating. I probably could have got it for a bit less, but I wasn't in the mood to haggle. I got a 2005 Chevy Malibu sedan, "metallic sandstone" in color (the 2003 had apparently sold...). It's pretty damn cool. It's got auto-almost-everything. Only about 25000 miles on it. So my insurance agent stopped by earlier to pick up the title to my car and give me my settlement check. It also felt like he broke my hand shaking it as he left. My poor hand/wrist. I now have a check for $8400. It's a bit better than I expected, especially since I bought the car for $9000. Now I just need to find a new one. There's one in Hornell ( Read more... )
