My cat is crazy o_O
ok ..... the cat has been super hyper and bouncing off anything in my room , chasing her tail and making strange noises , and she's still running around the place going crazy right now. o_O
This is strange behavior indeed...Maybe it's the food I've been feeding her , but she is craaaaazzzzzy!!
Anyway ,it was a full day at college today , and I totally failed the given task with flying colours. We had to produce an illustration piece (including planning , thumbnails , rough visuals etc.) within the course of the working time we hadin class , which was roughly 5 hours. Me being a perfectionist and hating to jump into a piece of meaningless work was working at such a slow pace I didn't even get my outline finished until about 3 , and we had to leave at 4. So that meant just under an hour to colour it. Yeah , for me that's not really possible unless I coloured it in kiddy-style , and really messy >_<
That's not my style , and that's definitely not the message I want to convey to people if they were to see my work in a book or magazine....and of course , it goes against every reason why I like to draw and produce art in the first place.
Anyway , I wrote a mile-long evaluation on how badly I failed , and I still have homework to do for 3D class , write up my personal statement into an organised rough version , and start presenting my work. There really is a lot for me to be doing.
We got our supplies today - new sketchbooks and random other accessories we will need throughout the year. I already predict that these glue sticks will not last long , no matter how 'jumbo' in size they state to be. Last year I think I remember using up the five or six glue sticks they gave us within only a couple of weeks of starting presentation....this time , we only have two.
I think the cat might have calmed down a little......she's perched on the end of my bed , appearing slightly more relaxed than when I started to to type this entry.
