I just got a call from Reina. We could only talk for about five minutes but she did mangage to tell me that her mother disowned her and now she has to ride the Metro to Queen Anne everyday to get to school..I am so scared for her. I could never even imagine my mother doing that to me...The whole thing is just so hard to believe. It's hard knowing I can't do anything for her except try to comfort her over the phone. The other strange thing is that her mother was so nice around me...just an argument could make her disown her only child. It makes me want to cry.
