Today was the first day of school after my four-day weekend. I hate school, I really do. My weekend wasn't much better though. I had to go to my grandpa's funeral because he died on Friday...I will really miss him. He was such a kind person. My dad got rather depressed during the whole thing. We had to drive 12 hours there and back, so there would be these times on the road where he would just lose control. It was really scary. He felt bad for making my sister and I go on this trip and ruining our weekend, so he bought us an electric thinger so we could watch DVDs in the car. That was really cool. We watched The Two Towers and a new Miazaki movie about these cats...I forget the name though. I love Miazaki's movies so much. They are absolutely gorgeous. Even the oldest of them are really pretty. The funeral all together wasn't that long. My dad's work is even going to donate money to a charity in my grandpa's name. I think that is really nice of them. I'm glad he died in his sleep. He has gone through so much pain...and he died in the best way possible. I'm glad for that. I hope my grandma will recover soon. It has been so hard for her.
