Keeping Things Clean: Rules for a New Year

Feb 04, 2007 19:14

One: Everything has an away.

Corollary A: If it doesn't have an away, you need to get rid of it.
Corollary B: If it isn't in its away, you need to put it there.

Two: Everything naturally gets dirty *all the time*, not just when your back is turned.

Corollary A: If you haven't cleaned it yet, you probably should.
Corollary B: If you have already cleaned it, you should check whether it needs it again.

Three: Problems inevitably get worse, never better, over time.

Corollary A: It's easier to clean now than it will be in two months
Corollary B: Stop being a lazy fucker.
