I hate packing. it's tedious. I am alternating writting this and folding all the (semi) clean clothes that are going in my one duffle bag. I do feel pretty BA for traveling with only a duffle and a backpack though. I am going back to Vermont and can't decide what to wear on the plane. I'm thinking flannel would be most aporpraite.
wow I am such a creeper. I just got a text from a number I didn't reconize, so I called it (stupid broken touchscreen) and when this person unknown picked up, I greeted him with "who is this?!" haha. I turns out, it was a friend from Wisconson also traveling to VT and was wondering if I was hanging out in the Detroit airport (becuase I hangout there frequently) I guess when my non michigian friends think of me when they are stranded in the Detriot airport cuz this isn't the first time this has happened to me. Even my track coach likes to tell me (repeatedly) of the time he got drunk in the Detroitt metro while waiting for his layover) But seriously I do not live in the Detroit airport so unless you want to call to tell me how you survived Detroit, I don't care if you are there. It would be like me calling ALL my friends in the state of New York becuase I have a flight out of JFK.
So my mother was obsessivly playing George Harrison's song "Hari Krishna" on the way home today. So we sang along a couple of times and it made think of a different Beatle's song, but I could not think of what it was called for the life of me. So we tried three different solo Beatle's cds. (First the rest of George, then some Paul and finally John) The only part I could remember was "everyone's talking about fagots, fagots, fagots. Which was not something I could not sing in front of my little brother. So my explaination was "there is repeatative chanting" We eventually found it on John Lennon's Imagine cd, "Give Peace a Chance." I was ashamed I couldn't remember it.
Ok, everything is folded. I have nine pairs of spandex leggings and only six pairs of panties/thongs. I have decided against bringing my ski boots back, but I really doubt I'll get another chance to ski with track outdoor season starting and the weather being warm and sunny and rainy (not at the same time probably)
creeper,
