goin' on a bear hunt

I persued the property with Katy yesterday after the ski hill failed to open. (I guess that happens when it's 60 all day) It's that time of year when the snow only hanging on in clumps in the shade (lucky for me our yard is in what we call the "snow belt" and stays longer then most other yards) of course the Husky was adorable wreaslting with us in the snow, but with two dogs crapping out there all winter, you had to really watch your step. I rediscovered the old stick fort I and my neighbor had built years and years ago. I think I'll rebuild it with my little brother this summer. I just have to figure out an effiectent way to transport sticks over the fence. (I hope my fence climbing skills are still there)

I also learned that you are never to old to retort with a "your face" thanks Katy for showing me college kids are not above trading "witisms" with middle schoolers.

I got more almond milk! It's so delishious. I am taking it with me up north (up north = Michiganders traveling to the top part of the mitten or the UP) and it's going to be my friend. I only have three days to drink the entire carton, I don't think the airport security will allow it through.

Today was a big day for me. I got my haircut and was mildly pleased with the result. I didn't cry! I hate getting it cut and yes, while it was painful to sit for an hour and half, it turned out ok. Also I didn't know you could curl hair with a straightener. I would try it myself but I don't own a straightener (something that shocked my stylist) I was also told I have model hair (which cracks me up) which is something that also every stylist I try (I rarely go back to the same one) tell me (it still cracks me up)

Horray for four hour car trips up north (love car trips, hate upnorth) I'll be drawing, reading, and writing. Maybe I'll even be productive!
