13 Things About Me
1. My name is Professor Haylie Snyder.
2. I teach Psychology and Italian at the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters.
3. I am a mutant, and one of the X-Men.
4. After Senator Robert Kelly's death and the United States government's enactment of the Mutant Registration system, I was registered as Mutant #1846 and given a codename - Spitfire - by the military.
5. My mutant status was made public in 2006 and I was forced to retire from my career as a New York City homicide detective.
6. Professor Charles Xavier offered me a job at the Institute upon news of my retirement and was the one who helped me tame my powers.
7. I was abducted by General Bolivar Trask last year and was brainwashed into thinking I was a Federal Agent working on Mutant Crimes.
8. Trask put me to work creating a mutant database - cataloguing abilities, codenames, images, and the like of mutants I'd encountered and taught. I don't remember much from that time.
9. My mother is a Vice detective in Manhattan and has received a lot of backlash because of my mutant status.
10. I experienced a rare evolution last year and nearly destroyed the Institute as well as a very close friend.
11. I am one of the main staff members in charge of Danger Room training.
12. My codename is hardly an accurate reflection of my abilities.
13. I have a black belt in Taekyon.
