1st time volunteering as a PA
I just came back half an hour ago from my first set experience a.k.a 1st 18 hour day. Strangely I'm not tired, only my feet. And I know my muscles will be killing me tomorrow.
The set experience was for the music video "Jumpstart" by a band called These Kids Wear Crowns. It's a catchy song, the video had a lot of colour, and there was fireworks and SF explosion--because what band can't rock it without an explosion. Mostly I just helped out where I could, when I wasn't being to timid of where or what I should be doing.
They used cast, extra, and crew cars to fill the streets of the Watchmen set, where the filming took place. I totally forgot that Supernatural films there too. I can definately say my car shows up quite a bit in the video, as does the other cars. Though strangley an apple box got left under the hood of my car when they popped it enough to make it look car accident-ish.
I'm going to be sore tomorrow. :D
