All I had to do was put one foot in front of the other, and the world opened before me

It was a fabulous day.

For fear of sounding too dramatic, I'll try to keep it short:

I left Japan Civ. early, and decided to take a walk on the Ave.

Made it there, but nothing looked good; so I pressed on to 45th and started walking that.

Made it from there all the way to Stone Way, which is past Wallingford, and still nothing looked good. By then by backpack was getting heavy.

Walked down to almost where the water is before downtown. Started heading back to where the U Disrict is; found a coffee shop, and after a... complication, purchased a sandwich and some pretty good coffee.

PLayed videogames with Kellen (Kelen, Kelan, I really don;t know how to spell it!) anyway, it was fun.

Ate dinner with Jackie, and Kristin, and later Zak; also fun!

played two hours of Metal Gear Solid Three (new game I bought today) and now I'm gonna retire.

We're in the prime of our lives; don't waste this time by lazing around (unless that's what you wanna do). This city and all the towns around it are beautiful and different as you pass them. Wander some time. It beats the hell out of sitting on your computer or Playstation 2 all day. The weather matches it. Also; you never know; you could find a great restaurant, or a great hang out place by exploring. It is really worth it, so find a friend if you don't wanna go alone, or even give me a call. Being here and physically fit; it would be a sin to waste myself like I was until today.
