Just a day update
I had a pretty good day today. I had to work a fair at the YMCA in Dr. Phillips this morning. The FasTracKids table was next to the Cookies By Design table. The only thing that would have made the experience better was if she had brought samples with. The girl working the table was named Nicole. I really liked her a lot. It's not often that I meet a girl and walk away from the experience thinking....jeez...I liked her. I could be friends with her. Usually I don't really like chicks, but this girl was cool.
I must say, bonding over coming from the midwest was nice. She has family in Chicago and is from the Wis. Dells. I love the Dells!! We bonded over a midwest food discussion and accents. It's so nice to find someone from home. Plus, her family owns 3 of the Cookies By Design in the area...uhm....hello! Those are some of the best cookies ever!
Then I went shopping. Yeah I bought WAY more than I should have (and really, that was only one bag worth of stuff...by way more I mean, I spent too much money! Stupid Target!!!) But it felt good. Plus I bought Chris a just because present...and those are always fun to give. I hope he liked it.
Tomorrow I get the puppy. I hope he likes me...and Chris...and the Cross Brothers. I'm sure he will, what puppy wouldn't like us? I'm excited. Also, my parents are going to be down here tomorrow. It'll be nice to see them.
Anyway, so that's my update.
