Time Travel
I missed Valentine’s Day.
I didn’t forget it; it simply didn’t exist. I’m not exactly sure what happened to it, but one moment it was the 13th and the next, it was the 15th. I mean I can look at a map and see some “international date line,” but it still seems weird that Valentine’s Day simply didn’t happen. I just did not exist for the entirety of Feb. 14.
Awesome.
What a great way to start my semester down under, by not being lonely on Valentine’s Day. Always a rough day for the single, but this year, it would’ve been particularly cruel. From now on, I’m flying from the US to Australia to skip all days that are difficult to face.
Now, I’m exhausted. Traveling to the future can be quite tiring- but I’m excited to start my excellent adventure in an upside down land.
