Wrapping under Pressure
Trying to wrap presents during the short time Chunky naps and Dee gets off the bus is nerve-racking. Especially since his bus decided to come 20 minutes early. Most of the presents are wrapped and in their hiding place. I'm gonna have to get creative next year. Dee was opening closet doors yesterday in search of hidden presents. One of his classmates told him that Mom and Dad are Santa. BRAT. But when asked if this was true, I told him that we buy some of the gifts and Santa brings the rest. I wasn't expecting that question to come up until he was 10.
He is telling me now that I don't have to hide them and he will wait till Christmas eve. He is an eager beaver for presents. He noticed that there were more presents today than yesterday under the tree and is reading who they are for. I think I liked it better when he couldn't read.
