Union Blues
Since the middle of April, city workers have been on strike in Windsor. Recently, they've been acting like assholes. Picketing residents cleaning up a park so that kids can play baseball and soccer -- or people picking up garbage, because some spots look fucking awful? That's some good public relations! Would these same workers react the same way if people were doing this when there wasn't a strike? These aren't scabs, these are citizens who want to allow children to play sports over the summer and, maybe, not have their neighbourhood look awful or outright stink because of the lack of garbage pick-up. Doing this won't hurt the union, but picketing these citizens will. I mean, fuck, picketing people cleaning up a park so children can play? What kind of moron thinks that's a good idea? Sometimes, I really, really hate unions.
