So, I'm halfway through week 5 of p90x. I was a little scared when I started p90x, so I started on the Lean version... then I gained some confidence and started phase 2, this week, on DOUBLES. So far so good, let's see if I can manage the next two and a half weeks on doubles, though. I'm sort of addicted to seeing the scale move from day to day, so my eating choices have just fallen into place. I always think, "I could see the scale the next pound lower in the morning if I don't eat (fill in the blank with questionable food choice.)" I'm eating like 3/4 of a bag or more of spring greens a day. On that, I put goat cheese, cashews (or pecans or walnuts), strawberries, some diced pancetta, onion, chopped prunes, and lowfat raspberry vinaigrette. Its delicious.
I started around 173 and now I'm 161. Man, if I could do that on the lean version, I'm gonna melt away on doubles. I have a goal graph on my phone, and by my birthday I should be back into the 110's. Hopefully. I might have too much muscle by then to get that low, but we'll deal with that when we get there. By South Korea time I'll be, probably, in the 130's.
This is it. All my goals happen now.
