I'm still underage and can't drink. Will you serve other drinks?

We serve some of that "soda" stuff...and of course there's always water...and I'm pretty sure the water at this tavern is clean, too!

Out of curiosity, what IS the drinking age around here?

I think it's 21, but in Japan it's 20. I don't drink soda very much though, but it's good to hear that the water in the tavern is clean. I wouldn't want to drink from a poorly-washed glass.

That sounds pretty late in life to be getting started on the fun stuff, to me.

Well...I mostly meant the water itself is clean...but we do keep our glasses pretty clean in this tavern.

...Can I even get in?

I don't see why not. Nobody else has any trouble getting in here...even the ones I don't necessarily like coming in here.

Hmm. I may consider it! Do you make any non-alcoholic drinks? Are they tasty? Would you recommend it?

I'm sure I could put together something without the alcohol in it.

If anything I can always offer water with a twist of lemon. Huh...I wonder if that "soda" stuff would taste decent with some lemon in it.

It would taste marvelous and refreshing! Try looking for some lemon-lime soda at the bar there.

Huh...I think this stuff called 7-up is supposed to be like that.

Does everything have weird or stupid names around here?

Those are brand name items. They have a common, general name, like your 7-Up is a citrus soda, but 7-up is a particular soda that is popular.

Uh, yea. Well, we've got that.

[Varric does sound a bit confused and NOT in his element with this little soda education.]

Really, though, never underestimate a good alcoholic beverage.

Maybe when I'm older.

Or if there are girls involved.

Now that is what I like to hear!

I suddenly like you even more. Indeed, the best time of all can be had with alcohol when the fairer sex is present!

Keep that in mind, and if you ever want to know more about it you can always turn to old Varric for help.

Varric, huh? I'm Souji. It sounds like you know how to hold the bar down!

I do indeed.

I lived in one for quite a while before I came here, you know.
