Heat Wave Update | WALL-E
Regarding the previous entry, the following day I found out why I was feeling so awful. I was in the first stages of a full blown summer cold. The next day I woke up congested and feeling like my head was stuffed with cotton. Thankfully no fever, chills, or pain, but I had to have plenty rest and hydration.
The Bay Area's natural air conditioner (cooling fog) came back on Thursday night, and that provided sorely needed respite from the raging heat wave. Between my cold and the horrible weather, I didn't feel like doing much this week. I did manage to have lunch with feather_quill on Thursday; we then watched WALL-E in a deliciously cool theater. I really don't understand the hype for this film. The themes presented are important and are thought provoking, but the main character was so annoying. Overall, I thought the film was okay.
