(no subject)
2011 was an epic year. it was eventful. it was made up of good vibes. it was being young. it was being free. it was taking risks. it was being appreciative and grateful. it was being content. it was sunny. it was bliss. it was spontaneous and carefree. it was the prime of my youth...and it's been a bit hard for me to let it go. "2011 hang over" might be the term. the year that was just hit me right through.
i was fixing my 2011 planner to fill in all the uncompleted pages. i have been "plannering" (someone who keeps a planner-- not a diary, and writes/doodles meaningful daily experiences with sticking receipts/tickets/etc.) since third year high school (year 2005). and for 2012, i decided to stop and keep a travel notebook instead. indeed it was a difficult decision, but at the same time i know i made the right one.
looking back at my 2011 planner made me nostalgic. and for this year, maybe i can keep in mind all the lessons i learned:
