Birth Control Pill linked to serious injuries
1. I'll try to be business-like and brief. Had a "video audition" a couple days ago. Me and Scott (who co-stars in Tangled Rhizome) are friends with a... kid who was in the Actors Workshop for a couple months. He's 22, but plays teen roles. Actually he looks eerily like me.
Anyway he got the lead role in a series of witch/action movies that are being shot in Sarasota (and the director apparently has an "in" with Lion's Gate), so our friend sent our headshots in, to fill the roles of one of the witch's soldiers. Apparently the director really liked our looks, so our friend busted out his camera and walked us through doing intro speeches which he then sent on to the director. Sweet!
2. I've been flipping out over getting the Rhizome trailer done. But now it turns out the Campus Talk article I wrote to promote Rhizome won't come out until March, so I have some breathing room.
2.5 Here's the conundrum! Do I: edit almost all of TR first, then cut that into the trailer? Or do I cut the raw footage into the trailer? Both are time-consuming processes! If I cut raw footage, I can finish it quicker, but the trailer won't be as polished, and then I have to "re-do" some work when I re-edit the raw footage.
But basically editing all the episodes before making the trailer is a monumental task in itself. However, it's got to get done some time!!!
3. I want to go to the Ren Faire as a satyr. Tiney sent me this link, which is fantastic. But it's a pain-in-the-ass, especially since my mom has to do most of it! It sure as hell won't be ready this weekend. Any tips???
4. Lastly, I'm on the "slow-carb diet." So far it's gone pretty well, except when I had carb-withdrawal 2 mornings ago. Also, my first "free day" will be this Saturday, so I'll let you know how that goes. Here's a hint: it involves a 5-pound bag of licorice allsorts I got on amazon!
