We're All Mad Here - And It's Nearly Time for Halloween
I really like making cemeteries although I don't like playing elders or letting my sims die. Now that I have been making custom hoods, I have been creating a new hood before my favorite sims die. I even like the townies because they are custom townies.
I wanted to share at least one of my cemeteries when I saw the votes come in for Grim Reaper in Garden of Shadow's monthly theme. But I changed my mind because several cemeteries have already been uploaded while I was waiting for my Photobucket bandwidth.
So, I decided to post a cemetery here and hope people find it in time if they are looking for something for Halloween. I know cemeteries are used all year, but I think people look for them more at this time than at any other time.
Crypts and Cinema
This is a 40x40 community lot with some large screen TVs from Simwardrobe. There are two TV watching rooms. The lower floor has full restrooms, showers, pinball, chess, and two small private sitting rooms where sims can place their urns on end tables. I guess you could use those rooms for your favorite families. I only placed 5 end tables, but you could use any number of shelves to place your urns.
I tried to go easy on placing the decorating gravemarkers in case people want to place theirs differently. I don't like mine placed too closely together but others might. Especially if you have serial killers in your hoods.
It's been in my head that I need to make smaller cemeteries, but I just haven't been able to do that, probably because I've never seen small cemeteries and those that have been on residential lots (pre-made lots) have seemed too strange to me the way they are packed in. I think this lot is the smallest I've made.
Because it is Halloween, I added a few skeletons, but I didn't think they were very creepy. Even the gargoyles don't look creepy. I actually think they look sad and I feel sorry for them. Oh well. Hope everyone will feel free to change the lot to be more of what they want. I left empty spaces for you to do your own thing, but you can always change what I did as well.
