In Limbo
Well, I guess photobucket isn't a good solution for posts to GoS. Since my pictures don't show up in the thread with the lots I uploaded and I have no idea how long I have to wait for images to show up. I've had the account for many years but rarely used it. I cleared the few pictures that were there to start posting at GoS. Are there other places that don't have bandwidth problems on a free account?
I had a couple more community lots to post, but I think now that I'll just wait until I have a better alternative for pictures. After all, I haven't been using photobucket for anything else but sims stuff.
What is truly ironic is that I have a paid .Mac account with a bunch of hard drive space and no bandwidth limits like photobucket has. But the GoS rules don't allow posting from personal sites. Well, maybe that is the problem. I just need to wait and start posting here or make more use of my .Mac account. I don't want to have a dozen different accounts all over the internet, even if they are free. It takes up too much time investigating the different options, then learning all the details for each service.
Truthfully, I'm not all that thrilled with LJ. I guess I just got too used to .Mac but have been thinking of closing the account since I have not been using it as much as I used to and I do have to pay for it every year. I don't know if I would feel better if I spent more time figuring out how to do different stuff with LJ. I haven't explored it much. And I was a bit peeved that I've filled out my profile (as much as I wanted to) three times, and it still prompts me that I haven't done my profile. Why make stuff optional if it is just going to nag that the profile isn't complete?
So. I'm feeling very indecisive. I have pictures and lots (houses and community) to upload but can't decide what to do. I'm back to playing instead of doing so much building as I still have quite a few lots to make available that are already done. So, my lots overfloweth.
I gotta make myself play more instead of stopping to build a new lot whenever I get an idea.
