Japanese and the Tragedy of my iPod

I've signed up to take Japanese and it is actually a lot of fun. It's an intensive course run by the Sprachzentrum at the Uni Leipzig, meaning that we learn one semester's worth of Japanese in 7 days. It's crazy, but I think it's doable, seeing as the course it's designed to substitute only meets once a week anywho.  Our teacher's this crazy middle-aged Japanese woman who wears the most European clothes ever. She talks to us by throwing random German words together in a sometimes logical fashion,  and sometimes  adds a few English words in there just for  some extra flavor. :D She's really nice though, so it makes up for the lack of understanding that generally goes on. We learned quite a lot, so I'm rather happy that I spent the 30 Euros on it, :D ! I have tons of homework tonight though, so I have to start doing that soon for our quiz tomorrow, :D !

In other horrible news, half of my iPod dock jack thing broke off in the headphones hole and now I am struggling to get it back out. This means I have a wonderful functioning iPod that doesn't play because something's stuck in the hole. Grrr . . . and I'm scared to send it to Apple to have it fixed, because it's going to be super obvious it was my fault and I don't want to end up paying billions of dollars to buy a new one. I think I'm going to try super glue tonight. If that doesn't work, then I'm going to send it to Apple and pray they don't charge me anything.
