I have a theory...
Today I went to see Borat: Cultural Learnings of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. When discussing the film afterward with Ilya we reflected that Rich Emmerson (a guy from uni for those unacquainted with him) would have enjoyed it a lot, seeing as how this kind of tasteless and outrageously politically incorrect humour is exactly up his street... Then I remembered how Rich always used to speak in such a good slavonic accent, just like the guy in the film... And then I remembered that while in Petrozavodsk, Rich used to go around saying "My wife, she is dead!" in a slavonic accent, which is also a line from the film (and he was going round saying it 2 years before the film was made - uncanny!)... And then I remembered that the reason Rich never made it to my graduation party was because he was going on holiday to America, where the film was shot... !!!! Is this a coincidence, or has Rich been leading some kind of double life?! Anyone who has pictures of Rich (preferably digital ones so they can be posted online and compared to pictures of Borat) I urge you to come forward so the truth can be revealed!
