Bali Day 1
from a local PD trip to penang.. we end up at bali...
one of the most recent spontanous trip..
i remembered the last spontanious trip was also with joanne right after form 5
and here we are again...
another spontanious trip...
this time it's a double date... but we planned it before joanne and ym got together
2 friends who knew of each other 12 years ago.. who knew 12 years later...
so here we are...
at bali together... on a thursday noon
hired the villa's driver to pick us and we're on our way to the villa !
along the way we bought lunch... nasi padang...
and we have arrived...

this photo with the twin bed is from the website, but we had a king bed
and the pool is only 5 feet away from the bed !
(which was why it was easy for YM to throw SJ into the pool while he was sleeping

after exploring, we opened our lunch
nasi padang... we had stopped at a stall earlier
and picked the items we wanted..
kinda like chap fan here... and food there is not cheap
either that or they knew we were tourist
but our landlord lady who helps us to buy provides us with receipt of the similar price
a pack of rice with different items comes to approx RM12
i wouldnt say it's super exp but isnt it exp for them ?
we're getting ready to play while YM has to do his conference call
poor YM... on the bright side... his working environment is just lovely!

around 6 to 7 SJ took a nap and then....
YM threw him into the pool!!!
kinda funny cause SJ was shouting 'nooooo my pyjamas !!!'
coz he only bought one set to sleep in...
sadly i got throw in too after that
after lazing & playing around until 7...
we left for dinner at Potato head..
initial plan was to go to seminyak beach for seafood but it was too late
we'd miss the sunset... so we went to a near by recommended place instead... *Potatohead*
a large building with a few different restaurants inside..

there's indonesian food, western, french and probably more but i cannot remember
it's also a beach club and they have a nice pool where you can eat beside or just have a drink
"after 4pm children are not allowed in the main pool"
we decided to go with lilin... indonesian food since we're here in bali

SJ and i shared a tapas set which comes in 4
we picked the fried (i forgot what), mango salad, beef rendang and fish
which was super delicious
and their main menu only consist of 4 main dish
such as babi guling (which we will eat in the days to come)
and duck (also something we will have the following day)
so we ended up with the chicken
(because the other fish was kinda pricey and we realized we bought too little money)
i forgotten about the possibility to buy paintings and RM1000 to spend here might not be enough..
other times i hardly spend during holidays so i miscounted this time !!!
love my peach drink but it wasnt enough
SJ ordered a cook and it came in a cute skinny can
after our dinner we explored around
thats the pool area which you can actually sit and have a drink there

went back to the villa and dipped into the pool again cause its not every day you get a pool right outside your room =D
