1. Romania didn’t qualify for Euro 2012. Booooo!!!
2. Panti’s goalkeeping performance was, er, not very good. Moving swiftly on...
3. Switzerland didn’t qualify either. BOOOO!!!!
4. Neither did Slovakia, and while I’m not very interested in them on the whole, this means NO HAMSIK. D:
5. Serbia didn’t qualify and Deki’s retiring anyway, so NO DEKI.
Some tournament this is going to be. In mitigation:
6. Pretty Ricardo Rodriguez played for Switzerland and was good. :]
7. The BUM got his first-ever goal for his country.
8. Srdjan Luchin (former Poli player and the Deki of Timisoara) got his first-ever goal for his country.
9. Derdiyok got what might as well be his first-ever goal for his country; he’s played 36 matches and scored four times. Oh, well, this should keep him from hanging himself.
