No matter what I do, I am never happy. But right now things are even worse. I am a junior, and all of my senior friends went to their junior proms. Tonight is the night of prom, but I am not going. I don't have a date. In fact, no one has mentioned it to me, or even asked me to be their date

aw i'm sorry sweetie. I know how you feel. i went to my junior prom with my best friend last year. But he dropped out and so this year there wasn't even a word mentioned to me about senior prom. No one would even think of going with me. And I have a feeling if it hadn't of been for my best friend, I wouldn't have gone last year either.

it sucks, and it hurts. But hey, at least you don't have to run around frantically getting ready tonight! It's just a big hassle lol

I went to my jr prom with a sophomore b/c he was skipping his jr year and i felt pitty on him b/c he wanted to go to both proms.. so i went.. didn't speak to the guy afterward for the rest of my jr/sr years. LOL. was to weird b/c i like bailed on him during the prom. LOL. Senior rolled around and the prom was going to be held in this stupid tin building.. i didn't want to go so i shunned all the guys that would ask me... I for some reason hated going to school functions, but loved being around people.. i dated one guy my entire college career.. for 2 years.. last 2 years of college, I was single.. I was a loner for the most part.. final semester.. i hooked up with the town boy toy and tamed him from going after every single chick.. was quite a catch.. i dumped him 3 months later bc he had this huge spoiled ego still.. but gave up the girl desire.. go figure. LOL. anyway, i thought i'd never date again.. best friend online for the past 6 years came into my eyes around january and we just realized how perfect n stuff we were togther..

Kind of, but it's hard to be alone. I am tired of talking to family, because I think they are tired of listening to me. But the fact is I am going to be miserable until people finally start to see that there is much more to me than just being the nerd, or that one girl. Thanks for your understand :)

awww.. i didnt start dating until a month before i went off to college... didnt have a real relationship until i was like, 21...

but the time before that sucked... i never got asked to any dances around here too.
