My moms friend..the one that has known me since I was 2 and that I used to help out at her daycare is really trying to rip me off. Part time daycares are almost always $16 a day. Sally wants to charge me $30 a day. She said for instance Monday is $30..Tuesday is $30..after that she's considered full time, which is $90..so I'll end up owing that amount total. 20 hours a week should not be that much. 20 hours a week is under the 24 part time guideline. I would owe $30 even if she's there for 1 hour! Now I'm in a scurry trying to find somewhere else. My sister told me about this one place that's ran through ISU. Everyone that works there has a degree. The babies are in their own room so I wouldn't have to worry about other kids injuring her. It's also 1 on 1 so I wouldn't have to worry about her being neglected and left there to cry. The lady said we could drop in at any time to see how it's ran. She said they might ask us to remove our shoes in the baby room for sanitary reasons. Also, whatever type of formula she's on they will buy as well as the type of bottles she uses..that's really nice since other daycares make you leave bottles there and I would have to supply the formula. Only thing I would supply would be diapers. The downsides are the spot isn't available until June 4th..I need it May 14th. Also, it's $145 A WEEK! They do take 4C, but the waiting list right now is ungodly. I'm looking about probably Feb before I can even get help through them. If you attend ISU this daycare will go by how much you make..which rocks for me since I make NOTHING. Downside is I don't have a current paystub, which they need..and my job doesn't give them out. They just write you out a personal check and I won't even know how much I really make until a week from this friday when I get my first 40 hours paycheck. It sounds good..I love the part that not just anyone can work there, you have to have a college degree...BUT I have NO ONE to watch her until the 4th.

I found all the classes I need for the first year. If my sister is willing to help me take Gracie to daycare I can do it. One of the classes is 5 days a week and it's from 7:20a-9:20a. I can do all of these on campus classes BEFORE work. I can get my first year done by January. January I'd actually have 1 last class to take to complete the first year and it's chemistry. The time clashes with my other classes or else I would do that now as well. I'm very very serious about this and I know it's going to be really really hard, but I have to do it. I would like to have my degree by this time 3 years from now.
