I've spent most of my day so far organizing my music collection on my computer. I'm going away next week for the rest of July, and I want to have all of my music with me. I've also recently downloaded a lot of music, and I have even more downloading as I type. A lot of the stuff I'm downloading is stuff I've never heard before but sounds interesting. For instance, as soon as I saw muramasa on a list of downloads, I jumped on it due to hearing about them from pengie's blog.

I have a question for my flist (and anyone else reading). Many of my albums have tracks that overlap. For example, I have every album Puffy AmiYumi's released in the US, as well as the Japan-only mini-album "59". "Teen Titans Theme", "Boogie Woogie No.5", and many other songs are on multiple albums- "Teen Titans Theme" is on "Nice", "59", and "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi", while "Boogie Woogie No.5" is on "Spike", "An Illustrated History", and "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi".

My question is should I up the songs on Ichiguchi (my mp3 player) multiple times, or only put them on once? For some of the albums, I have half the songs elsewhere and half the song only on there. For some I don't mind either way- does it matter if I have "Glamorous Sky" on both Mika Nakashima's greatest hits album AND her Nana album, or if that one song by her shows up twice? Not really. But with Puffy AmiYumi, it becomes a problem that I'm unsure how to handle.

So, how do you guys deal with multiple copies of a song?
