oh man i'm hyper. i just got back from ocean city with heather and steph and it was amazing. heather is a lobster (sorry, but its true) and i feel bad b/c it probably hurts, but i haven't gottena really bad sunburn in quite some time.. oh and guess what!? TOMORROW IS MY BIRTHDAY! YIPDEE DOO SWEET SIXTEEN!!
except its a little less sweet because unliek those who get their permits on time, i wont get mine until october :( oh well. i took drivers ed last week with sarah, steph, jenny, jeff and 2 random guys.. oh and ILE the teacher of course. speakign of which i have an incar on saturday... uh oh, i hope i dotn damage his car as i did to our poor ford taures.. yikes!
so back to the beach, which i far prefer to driving. a day by day:
sunday: i worked 9-3 then met up with steph and heather and we were on our way to the beach. no traffic got there at 6. i'm not sure what we did, dinner and a little unpacking i guess. but then we went down to the game room beacuae thats where anyone uner the age of 20 hang out. and it was there that we met (in order) justin, james (or jimmy/jimbo), john and michael. michael was the cutest but he had a gf and was shy or soemthig so we didn't see him much. anyways we stayed down at the game room playing ping pong and ice hockey for awhile until we got kicked out around 11 so we went outside and played cards. go fish, poker, indian poker (haha heather, john TOTALLY stole our game) and texas hold 'em which truly made no sense do to all the cheating and confusion/tiredness on our part.
monday: it was cloudy :-( but we went to the pool and then the beach and everywhere we went we saw them. it was quite sketchy. for example, i saw john and michale go by, i was talking to steph at the time, he says "Lau-ra" and i'm liek hi and then steph says lets go to the beach.. k. so then we finally decide to go in the water, and its FREEZING!! but we had fun nonetheless. anyways, about 15 minutes later we notice that in our quest to jump bigger waves and avoid "fish" and seaweed, we ended up right next to john and michael. so then we decide, enough of the beach, we'll go to the pool.. but no, lookiw who's there, why john and michael of course! that webnt on for awhile. so then it was 4th of july (whcih doesnt really matter until nighttime) and we saw the worst fireworks EVER. justin and jimmy asked us to go to their place but taht would've been kinda sketchy cuz we didn't know them and they were wearing shirts that said "corona extra" (which EVERYONE wears there) and "bud".. hmm not my ideal 4th. so after the really sucky fireworks we went back to teh deck to play cards again, but this time it was sad cuz they were leaving in the morning. at 5am too, wtf?!
*then we went to the beach and played football and volleyball in the sand. it was inexplainably bright out too. and it was really fun especially our races into the water and the whole foot burrying thing except that when justin did that my foot was actually stuck.. anyways it was a fun night.
tuesday: EMILY AND JOEL'S BIRTHDAY!!! um it was the nicest day so we went to the pool and beach and got our pics taken for kaliedoscopes by emmett, he wasHOT. esp that cowboy hat.. haha. we took a bunch of pics and this is when heather got her lobster sunburn :( poor heather. i got a little burnt around where by bikini ties in the back but it wasn't too bad. i even managed to de-whitify my boobs from wearing a strapless, tube-likem(bandeau??) bikini last year!! woo hoo! anyways we took showers (actually i didn't, i just straightened my hari) and got all dressed up for the boardwalk. all i bought was food (fries, cotton candy) and flip flops (red lifegurad ones b/c they were 2 dollars and by feet hurt alot). we didn't see too many hot guys except for one group of guys that apparently admired heathers skirt :-)))) hehehe. steph and heather got tatoos by a really nice guy and it was at this point that i got one of the meanest looks i have ever recieved in my life, oh well. stupid skank-whore. ha.. so we got back to my cousins apartment and started to check out the game room, in serach of more hotties but the only guy there goes/went to wj and had about four girls wrapped around him so we kept walking.
wednesday: today, we packed up in the morning, went to the deck all day for final tannign and after i showerred left around 5. then we picked up out scopes (which we paid for the night before, sketchy), bought soem candy, and ice cream and went to WAwa's (me!!) for gas and that was the end of out great oc trip. except for our one stop at wendy's.. yum!
all in all i only spent $30 which is a mojor improvement from last years liek fifty-something. all i got was flip-flops and a (very cute) keychain though.. i guess the rest was for ice hockey, and food. hah.

ps i forgot to mention that we always used stairs, all 70 of them, and that m&ms (peanut) accompanied every meal. claire, no offense but harry potter jelly beans, SUCK!
ps if anyone reads this tonigt coem to silver diner tomorrow morning at 10:30am for breakfast cuz i havent seen you guys in awhilea dn i want to celebrate my b-day before i have to work all day.. what a bad way to spend a sweet sixteen.. *sigh*
