Well, I'm on the lookout for Kara to release their new J-Pop single called "Jumping". So far there are a lot of demos and short versions, but the official single isn't out yet (as far as I can see). I'll push off my review for that until they release their official PV. In the meantime, in a complete opposite direction, and despite the group being one of those trying to break into Japan's music industry, SNSD has instead released a new K-Pop single. For now, I'd say it's a smart move.

A LOT catchier than Run Devil Run for sure. And the dance looks really nice! I look forward to seeing a full dance version for this. It definitely has an old, detective/spy feel with the cutesy factor of course. And the music video is visually appealing as usual, though I'm not too fond of some of the girls's getup. But ah well, fans of the girls sexy bodies would love this. Overall, a great song which I'm sure will catch up a lot faster among fans than RDR did.

OMG COOL, CUTE, LAIDBACK SHINEE IS BACK!!! Okay, yes, I'm not making sense. But admittedly I only seem to like SHINee for these kind of songs. Nope, don't quite like Lucifer or Ring Ding Dong, but Replay and Love Like Oxygen? SO MUCH LOVE.
So it's good to hear this song similar to that again after hearing mostly dance tracks from them. Not that I think they're bad, they're pretty good. But I just prefer this. So yes, I'm being silly. I'm not even that big a SHINee fan to begin with so I can't say much. But all I can say is, I really like this song. I like the dance so far and so looking forward to seeing the boys dance the full version of this!
Right, away from K-Pop for a bit, and back to my current addiction... VOCALOID!

It's a really long song, and throughout the last 3 minutes, it's just instrumental... but what really makes this song is the amazingly well done music video. If you don't get it the first round, watch it a second round and hopefully you get how tragic the music video really is. It's been a while since I was moved to being close to tears. I didn't cry, but I was incredibly touched by how sad it was. So while the song is long and boring at some points, I'm glad the visuals have now painted a beautiful picture for this song. Definitely recommended.

Definitely my favourite duet (Meiko x Kaito) at the moment, plus the song's actually really good. I like how it uses a different range of low and high notes, and yet it's still incredibly pretty. Being traditional helps quite a bit as well. ^^ Other variations worth noting includes
Luka x Gakupo's version and
all four of the adults (Meiko, Kaito, Luka, Gakupo) which sound AMAZING. Seriously, I didn't expect that... but this song just works really well with all 4 of the adults. And man, these Vocaloids need more love.
