Third Trimester
Well it has been a long time since I have updated my journal. A lot has happened and things have been crazy. Jim and I moved into our condo in Oak Forest. It is gorgeous ! It has a lofe, fireplace, huge master bedrrom with a walk in closet and a large spare bedroom (nursery). We still need to get some stuff to fill all the space we have, but it is slowly coming together.
Jim is in school right now, but will be done in a couple weeks. He is doing well and I am very proud of him. It's comforting to know that we won't have to struggle to have nice things. Hell with him making $40 an hour we'll be able to have almost anything we want. I will be staying home with the baby, but do plan on going back to school eventually.
Jim and I are getting along beautifully. I fall more in love with him everyday. He is so good to me and I love him for that. I Never thought I would find someone so perfect. We are so happy and we both deserve that. I don't know what I did to deserve him, but I'm glad that I have him. He is so supportive and he is going to be such a good daddy. His face lights up everytime the baby kicks and he is trying so hard to make everything perfect for when the baby gets here. It's nice to know that there are still some real men out there and I found the one for me.
We found out the we are having a girl, which I am totally happy about. We have decided to name her Mallory Marles Neylon. I have had 2 of my 3 showers. I got a lot of beautiful gifts. We got a beautiful Cherry wood crib, a winnie the pooh swing and high chair, winnie the pooh kick and play bouncer,a jumper,tons of cute clothes, and tons more. She is definetely not going to want for anything.
I am almost 8 mths so the baby is going to be here soon. I have to getto work on the nursey. It's just hard because I have very little energy. Being pregnant is no joke. The stretch marks such and so does the weigh that you seem to gain overnight. But it's all wotrth it when you feel your baby kick and move inside you. I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life.
I am proud to say that I am totally staright edge now. No drugs, no liquor and no ciggerettes. I will probably drink once in a while after the baby is born, but as for the rest that's in the past. There just comes a point when you need to grow up and that time is now. I want to be the best mother that I can be and that means more to me than anything else.
My cousin Becky and her husband have moved back here from Conneticut which is great seeing as she is the God mother. My grandparents just came up for a visit which was nice.
