In the spirit of the beginning of the semester, I shall do the traditional deed of posting my classes. However, 2 of them are up for debate and will probably change as soon as I get back to MoHo (Monday).
Art History 310 - Heads and Tales: Portraits and Propaganda on Classical Coins (required). This is with the lovely Bettina Bergmann which means I will have oh so much fun. I thoroughly enjoy her classes despite the heaps of reading she tosses on her students.
Anthropology 350 - Issues in Contemporary Anthropological Theory (required and finishes up my anthro minor). Oh Andrew Lass, how you make me giggle and sweat nervously. Sarah and I have already come to the conclusion we shall both be in tears with this class. We have to guide discussions, do presentations, write long papers... Honestly, how can my minor possibly be more difficult than my major?
Latin 201 - Intermediate Latin I. I'm enrolled but thinking of dropping it. I don't see much of a future involved in classics and so I shall drop this. It doesn't help that it's a Friday class. And we all know how I feel about Friday classes.
Other classes being considered:
Computer Science 101 - Problem Solving and Structured Programming. It's a step up from Intro to Comp Sci and it has the programming component I'm fascinated with. I really would like to take this. What irks me is that its a T,TH 8:35-9:50 class with a 2 hour lab. However, it isn't a Friday class...
Computer Science 211 - Data Structures. I would most likely take this Pass/fail since I'd be taking CS101 at the same time. This one has a lot of C++ stuff in it and I lurve computer languages.
[technically, if I take all these Comp Sci classes and 3 more next semester including 300 levels I could add a Comp Sci minor)
Spanish 362 - Radikal!: Multinarrative, Antihegemony and Basque Radical Culture. It's not cheating, I swear! And I am Basque, and fluent in Spanish, and all I have to do is email the professor for permission to get in... I would take this P/F simply because it would be a fun class. Should I or shouldn't I?
Now as for packing, yeah I gotta get on that right now...
